To keep me from wanting to die of boredom, food-wise, come Jan 1, I will be eating my 3 oz of sweets and making 3 delicious meals (even if they do not match the era, c'mon I am Californian I cannot completely abandon mexican and thai and the like!) AND eating out once-a-week whether it be Panera sandwiches, small portions of chinese or thai, or a hamburger.... That way, it will not all be Lord Woolton's Pie, (I can never eat SPAM sorry lol) weird British and US forties cuisine and the like! ;)
